One of my favorite stories in the Old Testament is the story of Esther. God was never mentioned in any of the chapters but His presence was felt through the lives of Esther, Mordecai and the rest of the Jews. The way He rescued the Jews from total annihilation was full of twists and turns. So imagine how glad I was when I saw the movie One Night with the King, which was based on Tommy Tenney's Hadassah and then received his other book Finding Favor with the King as a gift.
Though there were not good reviews about the movie, I think you have to watch it yourself to determine if the story of Esther was interpreted poorly or not.
